A Hidden Gem: our idyllic 4 Star Hotel in Rural Lancashire

Bartle Hall is set in fantastic Rural Countryside. The 4 star hotel in Preston stands off Lea Lane, Bartle on the site off premises which are known to have existed as far back as 1600.

The original estate consisted of 376 acres and it was only when William Joseph Walmsley passed away in 1963 that this land was reduced by the sale of the tenanted farms.

The manor house dates back to 1730 and has been substantially constructed in handsome Georgian-style of Brick and Stone dressing.

The current owners bought the Manor House in 1991 embarking upon breathing another chapter into the life of this elegant mansion, creating a fine award winning 4 star country hotel in Lancashire.

Screened by mature trees from the road Bartle Hall is a hidden gem. The house undertook a refurbishment of a grand scale last year, it kept true to its heritage. The flocked wall paper, extended cornice moulding, open fire and 4 metre long Chesterfield create a boutique hotel theme with great personality and roots.
