A Hidden Gem: our idyllic 4 Star Hotel in Rural Lancashire

Bartle Hall is set in fantastic Rural Countryside. The 4 star hotel in Preston stands off Lea Lane, Bartle on the site off premises which are known to have existed as far back as 1600.

The original estate consisted of 376 acres and it was only when William Joseph Walmsley passed away in 1963 that this land was reduced by the sale of the tenanted farms.

The manor house dates back to 1730 and has been substantially constructed in handsome Georgian-style of Brick and Stone dressing.

The current owners bought the Manor House in 1991 embarking upon breathing another chapter into the life of this elegant mansion, creating a fine award winning 4 star country hotel in Lancashire.

Screened by mature trees from the road Bartle Hall is a hidden gem. The house undertook a refurbishment of a grand scale last year, it kept true to its heritage. The flocked wall paper, extended cornice moulding, open fire and 4 metre long Chesterfield create a boutique hotel theme with great personality and roots.

The Stunning Lounge

We would like to extend an invitation for you to enjoy the special surroundings. Whether it be for a coffee and cake midweek or for the most important day of your life we would love to welcome you.

Fun and Games

If you have a few children attending your Wedding and you would like to keep them occupied garden games can be the perfect entertainment.

We recommend Sunshine Games who provide an array of games to keep those little rascals out of mischief.

My Favourites are Connect Four and Giant Jenga as these can be placed in the Gardens if you are blessed with nice weather.

Connect FourJenga

Sunshine Games also offer Bouncy Castles and even portable Crazy Golf! We have specialist Wedding menus for the “Well behaved Youngsters!” featuring Homemade Donuts with Chocolate Sauce and Jelly and Ice Cream.

A Fish Delight fit for a Wedding!

If you would like to glamorise your Wedding Evening Buffet we would suggest adding a Fine Fish and Seafood Display. The Salmon is skinned and dressed with Cucumber and accompanied by Mackerel, Atlantic Prawns and Smoked Salmon. It can also include Langoustines, Crab and Lobster.

This is silver served to your guests and has a big wow factor. Prices start from £85.00 dependant on the type of seafood and the volume of guests you are catering for.

Easter comes Early!

Easter has come early at Bartle Hall!

This morning we have seen six little bunnies which are getting us in the spirit for Easter. However they don’t seem to be carrying baskets filled eggs or candy.

Don’t worry we will ensure the chef doesn’t spot this little cutie!

If you are struggling for things to entertain the kids this weekend visit Avenham Park it has lots to offer http://www.preston.gov.uk/events/details/389/
